Requirements
Candidate must possess a Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA), along with a government-recognized professional body.
At least 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
Demonstrate experience in operational finance and finance business partnerships to drive strategic decision-making.
Showcase strong analytical and planning skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and sound financial judgment.
Display initiative, self-motivation and the willingness to work independently, even during extended hours when necessary.
Immediate available is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations while maintaining a deep understanding of key business drivers to provide clear, insightful analysis of business and financial performance.
Manage the full range of finance duties, including banking & treasury, accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis and cash flow management across all group companies.
Initiate, direct and coordinate the preparation of group financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidations.
Implement and maintain robust accounting systems, internal controls and working procedures for the entire group of companies.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations.
Lead the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee timely and accurate completion of all relevant statutory reporting to maintain good corporate governance.
Evaluate and interpret the organization's financial and business performance, offering recommendations to management on a monthly basis.
Provide analytical reports comparing actual performance against budgets monthly.
Ensure effective management of payables, receivables and cash balances.
Provide expertise to senior management on business and operational matters, leading special projects as required.
Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.
