Job Description

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA), along with a government-recognized professional body.

  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.

  • Demonstrate experience in operational finance and finance business partnerships to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Showcase strong analytical and planning skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and sound financial judgment.

  • Display initiative, self-motivation and the willingness to work independently, even during extended hours when necessary.

  • Immediate available is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations while maintaining a deep understanding of key business drivers to provide clear, insightful analysis of business and financial performance.

  • Manage the full range of finance duties, including banking & treasury, accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis and cash flow management across all group companies.

  • Initiate, direct and coordinate the preparation of group financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidations.

  • Implement and maintain robust accounting systems, internal controls and working procedures for the entire group of companies.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Lead the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee timely and accurate completion of all relevant statutory reporting to maintain good corporate governance.

  • Evaluate and interpret the organization's financial and business performance, offering recommendations to management on a monthly basis.

  • Provide analytical reports comparing actual performance against budgets monthly.

  • Ensure effective management of payables, receivables and cash balances.

  • Provide expertise to senior management on business and operational matters, leading special projects as required.

  • Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.
