8 - 10 years of experience in a senior accounting role managing full set accounting and related, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry

A recognised accounting qualification, such as LCCI or higher

Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Autocount and Excel

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Being discrete, dedicated, responsible and possess professional work ethics

Able to converse in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Report directly to the company directors

Overseeing full spectrum of companies' financial and accounting portfolio

Preparing and maintaining accurate full set accounting reports, financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations

Generating full set accounting reports, financial statements, reports, and other analytical documents in a timely and efficient manner

Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes

Overseeing and managing the payroll

Ensure monthly and timely EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, LHDN and any related submissions

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, internal policies and government & authorities regulations

Liaise with tax agent and external auditors

Managing accounting softwares or liaise with accounting software providers

Providing support and guidance to other members of the accounting team

Participating in the development and implementation of improved accounting processes and controls

Any other spectrum of financial accounting and inventories controls
