Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Proficient in database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably IT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in implementing and adhering to coding best practices.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
- Affinity for technology and quick to pick up new software and tools.
- High standards for personal quality of work.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.
- Optimize and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
- Debug and resolve issues reported by other team members and users.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our development processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflows and tools.
