Conferring with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons for special needs students;

Preparing and maintaining student data and other records and submitting reports;

Administering various forms of assessment and evaluating progress of each student;

Conferring with students, parents, head teachers and other relevant professionals involved in the students’ care to develop individual educational plans designed to promote students’ development.

Job Summary

The person selected for this job must have a recognised teaching qualification in Malaysia. This person must have work experience in working with children with SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD). This position is suitable for a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both the children and young people and can plan and implement a unique developmental programme for each individual

Requirements:

Advanced diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs)

Teaching experience in EIPIC would be an advantage

Knowledge of AEPS would be an advantage

Experience working with young students with neurodevelopmental and diverse needs (18 months onwards) – minimum four years experience

Strong command of the English language

Knowledge of Mandarin would also be an advantage

Provide efficient and professional services to parents and students to help them find the most suitable courses and teachers

Receive and consult parents and students, answer their questions about courses, teachers, tutoring centers, etc, and provide relevant information and suggestions.

Maintain the customer relationship of the counseling center, maintain good communication with parents and students, and provide timely feedback on their needs and opinions.

Manage and maintain the student files and course information of the tutoring center, including student attendance records, class schedules, grades, etc., to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.

Assist teachers and the Academic Affairs Office to manage the course progress and arrangement to ensure the smooth progress of the course.

Participate in marketing and promotional activities, including formulating and implementing promotional plans for the tuition center, designing and distributing promotional materials, and building trust and good reputation with parents and students.

Handle complaints and problems from students and parents, coordinate with relevant departments to solve problems, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Manage and maintain the front desk environment of the tuition center to ensure that the front desk is clean and tidy, in line with the company's image

Develop & Implement Preventive, Corrective and Predictive Maintenance improvement framework to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs and abating the risk of critical equipment breakdown or interruption

Set up an effective system of recording and monitoring of defects and breakdown reports in order to take remedy and immediate actions to minimize shut down times

Ensure that the personnel working in this team has acquired the right skill, are given proper training and are up-dated with the latest method, procedures and requirements

Must be hands-on and lead a small team of technicians in performing machine maintenance in respective section to achieve set targets of machine efficiency, up-time and utilization

Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets

Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or first level troubleshooting of facilities critical equipment

Plan and execute reliability improvement projects for critical equipment focused on new technology development, evaluation, and application to both existing and emerging risks

Supervise external vendor maintenance and repair on critical equipment

Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve equipment stability and performance

Managing stock and supplies of critical equipment spare and replacement parts & update on the maintenance expenses report

To provide full, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation ISO requirements

Responsible for good documentation i.e. prepare standard operating procedures for machinery, to ensure all equipment and technical drawings are updated and maintain accordingly

Ability to withstand pressure and adapt to high volume 24 hours/7 days manufacturing environment

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time, other ad hoc tasks and duties as when required

Responsible for designing and developing mechanical product and system concept, and forecasting of spare parts
