Key Responsibilities

Polishing

• Perform Polishing Operations: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized polishing equipment to polish, buff, grind, and deburr metal surfaces. Remove scratches, oxidation, and surface defects.
• Surface Inspection & Touch-Up: Inspect parts before, during, and after polishing to identify defects such as scratches, pits, waviness, or uneven finish. Perform rework or touch-up as needed to achieve specified finishes (mirror, satin, brushed, matte).
• Equipment & Consumable Maintenance: Clean and maintain polishing wheels, buffers, belts, and grinding machines. Monitor consumable condition and replace as required.
• Documentation & Coordination: Accurately record processing parameters and inspection results. Coordinate with upstream and downstream operations to meet production schedules.

Anodizing

• Perform Anodizing Operations: Operate anodizing lines according to work instructions and process parameters (voltage, time, temperature, electrolyte conditions) for materials such as aluminum and titanium.
• Part Preparation & Racking: Count and rack parts onto fixtures, ensuring proper electrical contact. Apply masking as required to protect designated areas.
• Bath & Parameter Monitoring: Assist in monitoring bath concentration and temperature. Perform simple chemical analysis or add chemicals as directed to maintain process stability.
• Post-Treatment & Inspection: Complete rinsing, drying, and sealing steps. Inspect anodized parts for color, coating thickness, and surface condition. Record batch data accurately.
• Equipment & Safety Maintenance: Operate hoists and related equipment. Perform daily equipment checks. Strictly adhere to chemical safety and PPE requirements.
