Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production quality, conducting inspections and testing, maintaining quality records, and ensuring that production processes comply with company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect each stage of the production process to ensure products meet the required quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing on semi-finished and finished products received from subcontractors.
• Inspect purchased goods from internal and external suppliers and report any defects, claims, or discrepancies.
• Ensure inspection and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
• Record and update inspection results in the company database.
• Manage and follow up on non-conformities and update relevant records with supporting evidence, including photographs.
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of inspection documents in both hard copy and electronic formats.
• Ensure production activities comply with documented procedures, quality standards, and QEHS requirements.
• Identify and report unsafe working practices within the production area.
• Discuss inspection results and findings with the Supervisor and relevant departments.
• Prepare and provide required quality reports and certificates to customers.
• Prepare Material Test Certificates (MTC) for local and international deliveries when required.
• Arrange and conduct destructive and non-destructive testing (DT/NDT) for products and maintain the relevant reports.
• Ensure proper product traceability throughout the production process.
• Support the implementation of quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Technical education or relevant technical qualification.
• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical processes and machinery.
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures related to manufacturing.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Good interpretation and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
