About the role

KYM is an early stage Singapore company working in payments and identity.

You will work directly with the founder on building relationships across the payments ecosystem. You handle the research, the outreach and the first conversation.

This is a junior role built for someone we train.

What you will do

• Research and build target account lists across the payments and fintech ecosystem
• Identify the right people to speak to inside each company
• Run outbound over email and LinkedIn at a consistent volume
• Run first calls against a set qualification framework, provided and trained on internally
• Write up every conversation the same day in a standard format
• Hand qualified accounts to the founder, with the groundwork done
• Keep the CRM accurate and current
• Track developments across the payments and AI commerce landscape

What we are looking for

• 0 to 2 years of experience. Fresh graduates welcome
• Clear, plain written English. You will write a lot of emails and a lot of notes
• Comfortable hearing no repeatedly and sending the next email anyway
• Organized by default. You keep records without being chased
• Curious about how payments work. You do not need to know it yet, you need to want to learn it
• Comfortable saying "I do not know, let me come back to you" instead of guessing

Education and eligibility

• Degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline
• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only. As an early stage company we are unable to sponsor any work pass, including Employment Pass and S Pass
• Strong written and spoken English, as all outreach and internal work is in English
• Prior internship or part time experience in sales, business development, research or customer facing work is a plus, not a requirement
