Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Field Engineer role based in Gelang Patah. The Project Field Engineer will oversee and execute site-based project activities, including supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and of electrical systems. The role involves providing field service and technical support for customers, diagnosing and resolving equipment or system issues, and ensuring work is completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The engineer will coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and vendors, prepare technical reports and documentation, and support progress meetings and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and customers, and to prepare clear technical reports and documentation.
• Candidates should possess Project Management abilities to plan site activities, manage timelines and resources, and ensure project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, communication protocols and Industry 4.0 or IIoT technologies is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Willingness to work on-site, travel to customer locations when required, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Possess own transport and valid driving license.
