Responsible for handling the hotel’s purchasing activities and store operations, including sourcing and purchasing goods, receiving deliveries, maintaining proper stock levels, monitoring inventory, and ensuring all items are properly recorded, stored, and issued to the respective departments.

• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers for food, beverages, hotel supplies, operating equipment, and other required items.
• Compare prices, quality, specifications, and delivery terms before making purchasing recommendations.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) according to approved requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on orders, delivery schedules, shortages, and outstanding items.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive prices where applicable.
• Ensure all purchases are made according to the hotel’s approved purchasing procedures and budget.
• Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure urgent purchasing requirements are handled promptly to avoid disruption to hotel operations.
• Maintain proper stock levels for food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, engineering items, office supplies, and other hotel operating items.
• Arrange and store items in an organized, clean, and safe manner.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
