About the role

This is a Site Engineer position responsible for supervising and monitoring daily site activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring construction works comply with approved standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on site matters

• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Prepare and submit daily site reports, work progress reports, and site documentation

• Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations

• Identify site issues and propose practical solutions to avoid delays

• Monitor project progress and report any potential delays or risks to the Project Manager

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and client requirements

• Attend site meetings and coordinate with all relevant parties

• Assist in project testing, commissioning, defect rectification, as-built documentation, and project handover

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in construction or interior fit-out projects

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines

• Willing to travel and work at project sites

• Possess a valid driving license and own transport is an advantage
