Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Workplace Planning & Spatial Strategy Manager to join our Property & Corporate Real Estate Services division at Standard Chartered Singapore. In this regional leadership role, you will lead space optimization, agile workplace transformations, occupancy forecasting, and modern corporate environment standards across our corporate headquarters, regional hubs, and branch networks in the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Workplace & Occupancy Strategy: Formulate and execute regional workplace strategy, space utilization benchmarks, and workplace design principles to support hybrid working models and departmental growth forecasts.
- Spatial Data Analytics & Portfolio Optimization: Analyze utilization metrics, occupancy sensor data, badge swipe analytics, and headcount projections to optimize desk ratios, space efficiency, and real estate footprint footprints.
- Macro Spatial Planning & Change Management: Direct macro block-and-stack space planning, departmental relocations, and agile workplace restructures, partnering with business business unit heads to ensure operational continuity.
- Capital Projects & Design Governance: Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate project management teams, external architectural firms, and interior design contractors to enforce workplace design standards, sustainable build practices (BCA Green Mark), and smart-office IoT integrations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & C-Suite Reporting: Present strategic space rationalization proposals, business case justifications, and workplace transformation roadmaps to regional C-suite stakeholders and real estate governance boards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Corporate Real Estate, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive workplace planning, corporate real estate strategy, or interior spatial management experience within a tier-1 financial institution, major corporate MNC, or commercial real estate consultancy.
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in workplace CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), spatial analytics platforms (SpaceIQ, FM:Systems, Serraview), CAFM/IWMS software, and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of agile workplace methodologies, activity-based working (ABW) models, occupancy density regulations, and ergonomic space standards.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder facilitation capability, change management expertise, and executive presentation presence.
Pay: $11,000.00 - $17,000.00 per month
