Our client is a leading financial services organisation seeking a Senior Associate - Credit Card Technology to support the development, maintenance, and modernisation of Credit Card systems.

This is a hands-on role involving system development, solution design, production support, and collaboration with business, product, engineering, and technology teams.

The Role

• Develop and maintain Credit Card applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and PL/SQL on IBM i / AS400

• Analyse requirements and deliver effective technical solutions

• Design, develop, test, and implement system enhancements

• Support Credit Card issuing, processing, lifecycle management, and fulfilment

• Work with ISO 8583, card schemes, and payment integrations

• Review code and mentor junior developers

• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain system stability

• Modernise legacy systems and reduce technical debt

• Support REST API and web service integrations

• Ensure compliance with security, risk, regulatory, and audit requirements
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 10-12 years of IBM i / AS400 experience

• Strong RPGLE, CLLE, PL/SQL, and Control-M skills

• 5-6 years of Java, Maven, Git, and ADO DevOps or equivalent

• Strong Credit Card issuing and processing domain knowledge

• Experience with card management/issuing platforms

• Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, ISO 8583, and payment processing

• Knowledge of REST API, SOAP, JSON, HSM, encryption, and cryptography is an advantage

• Familiarity with EMV, PCI DSS, 3DS, and tokenization

• Agile/Scrum experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Able to work independently and adapt to changing environments
