Delivery Operations Executive (Driver Coordination)
Koko Delivery is looking for a hands-on and proactive Delivery Operations Executive to coordinate our freelance driver fleet and support the smooth running of our daily delivery operations.
This role is suitable for someone with experience in delivery, dispatch, logistics or operations, as well as candidates with hands-on delivery experience who are looking to take the next step into an operations role.
You do not need to have been a manager before. More importantly, we're looking for someone who takes initiative, plans ahead and solves problems instead of waiting to be told what to do.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan daily driver manpower based on delivery volumes and requirements
- Contact and coordinate freelance drivers to ensure sufficient manpower
- Allocate deliveries to drivers and assist with route planning
- Monitor deliveries throughout the day and ensure jobs are completed smoothly
- Arrange replacement drivers when there are cancellations or manpower shortages
- Handle delays, failed deliveries and other last-minute operational issues
- Communicate with clients and drivers regarding delivery matters
- Recruit and maintain a reliable pool of freelance drivers
- Keep manpower, delivery and operational records updated
- Identify potential operational issues early and take action before they affect deliveries
- Assist with general operational tasks when required as part of a small, hands-on team
What We're Looking For
- Experience in delivery, dispatch, logistics, fleet coordination or operations is preferred, but not essential
- Candidates with hands-on delivery experience who want to progress into operations are welcome
- Strong initiative and problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Able to plan ahead rather than wait for instructions
- Comfortable personally calling and messaging drivers to settle manpower and delivery issues
- Able to stay organised and respond quickly when plans change
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment
- Basic computer skills and comfortable using WhatsApp and excel
- Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence is essential
Working Arrangement
- Salary: $2,700–$3,500/month, depending on relevant experience
- 5 full working days + 1 half-day per week
- 1 full rest day per week
- Full-time, on-site position
- Workplace: 41 Jalan Pemimpin
- Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn
