Job Responsibilities : -
- Handle daily administrative and documentation work for the Engineering Department.
- Maintain and update engineering records, documents, files, and reports.
- Assist in preparing the Engineering Department’s monthly reports and other required reports.
- Prepare purchase requests and assist with ordering of spare parts, tools, hardware items, engineering materials and other related items.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, check prices, follow up on orders and delivery status.
- Receive and check spare parts, tools and materials against orders when required.
- Keep track of outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers when necessary.
- Assist engineers and technicians with administrative matters and documentation.
- Perform other administrative or engineering-related duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Job Requirements : -
- Minimum SPM / STPM or equivalent.
- Previous working experience in engineering administration, purchasing, hardware shop, maintenance, spare parts or related fields will be an advantage.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of hardware, tools, machinery spare parts, maintenance items or engineering materials are encouraged to apply.
- Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
- Good follow-up skills with the ability to monitor orders, deliveries and outstanding matters.
- Organized, responsible, detail-oriented and able to maintain proper documentation.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and support the Engineering Department in day-to-day operations.
Skills & Competencies : -
- Practical knowledge of hardware, tools, machinery spare parts, maintenance items or engineering materials is strongly preferred.
- Administrative and documentation skills
- Basic purchasing and supplier coordination skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
