JOB VACANCY — DESH CATERING SERVICE PTE LTD
Position: Vegetable Processing Worker
Desh Catering Service Pte Ltd is looking for hardworking and responsible workers to join our food production team in Singapore.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Wash, clean and sort fresh vegetables.
* Peel potatoes, onions, carrots, garlic, ginger and other vegetables.
* Cut, slice and chop vegetables according to daily production requirements.
* Operate vegetable cutting/processing machines safely.
* Weigh and portion vegetables for kitchen production.
* Prepare vegetables and ingredients for the next day’s cooking.
* Properly store prepared vegetables and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness of the vegetable processing area, equipment and utensils.
* Follow food safety, hygiene and PPE requirements.
* Minimise food wastage and report damaged or spoiled products.
* Assist with receiving and arranging vegetable supplies.
Requirements
* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
* Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
* Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
* Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Experience in food processing, central kitchen or vegetable preparation will be an advantage.
