Air Conditioning Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems. The successful candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC/ACMV equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and recommend solutions.
• Perform testing and commissioning of air conditioning systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors on project requirements.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum [X] years of experience in HVAC/ACMV systems.
• Knowledge of air conditioning equipment, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Possession of relevant certifications/licenses will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential HVAC projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient air conditioning systems.
