Key Responsibilities

• Merchant acquisition and account opening
• Outreach to pre-approved merchants via WhatsApp, email and face-to-face engagement
• Follow up with merchants to obtain consent form submissions
• Coordinate with internal teams for merchant account activation
• Track outreach activity, conversion rates and sales pipeline
• Represent the company at merchant events, roadshows and onboarding sessions
• Manage booths, product materials and merchant engagement during events
• Deliver product pitches and briefings to merchants
• Execute structured merchant outreach campaigns
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activities
• Manage timelines, tasks and deliverables for partnership activities
• Identify blockers and suggest process improvements
• Prepare and present weekly performance reports
• Provide merchant feedback, objections and competitor insights
• Participate in monthly performance review meetings

Requirements

• 3–5 years of sales experience
• Preferably from banking, fintech, insurance, payments or financial products
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• SME/MSME or business owner engagement experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with outbound sales and face-to-face merchant engagement
• Own transportation and valid driving licence
• Willing to travel within Peninsular Malaysia
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Working Arrangement

• Nationwide travel may be required
