About the Job

Luxshare is a global leader in advanced manufacturing and technology solutions, with a growing footprint in the medical device sector. As part of our strategic expansion, we are establishing a Singapore-based engineering hub to provide world-class medical device design and development services to clients across the global market.

We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and track individual medical device development and design-transfer projects from kickoff through completion. This role keeps cross-functional workstreams on schedule, on budget, and aligned to design control requirements.

You will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations leads to translate project plans into day-to-day execution, surfacing risks early and keeping stakeholders informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans for assigned development or design-transfer projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement) to keep deliverables on track
• Track project scope, timelines and budgets against plan, and flag deviations early
• Prepare and distribute regular status reports, meeting minutes, and action item logs
• Maintain project documentation in line with design control requirements (DHF inputs, meeting records, decision logs)
• Support risk identification and maintain project-level risk and issue logs
• Coordinate design reviews, phase-gate meetings, and project checkpoints
• Assist with change control administration (ECO/ECN routing and tracking)
• Escalate schedule, resource, or scope risks to Program Manager as needed
• Support client status updates and meeting logistics under the direction of senior project staff
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements

• Solid understanding of the medical device development lifecycle and design control basics.
• Working knowledge of project scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and shifting priorities
• Strong analytical thinking with structured problem-solving capability
• Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills across engineering, quality, regulatory, and operations functions
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is a plus

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in project management experience, ideally in medical device industry
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification

Project & Delivery Experience

• Demonstrated success in supporting device products through the full design control lifecycle, from design input to commercial launch
• Familiarity with tracking project scope, schedule and budget against baseline.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead across global and cross-cultural teams.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional and external partnerships that deliver value to the overall business
• Strong ability to collaborate with Manufacturing Teams to ensure prototypes are designed with manufacturability in mind and transition seamlessly into production.
• Able to operate and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Technical & Leadership Experience

• Strong contribution to department strategy, resource and financial planning with focus on building scalable, entrepreneurial prototyping solutions that deliver business impact.
• Able to translate project plan into clear, actionable tasks for team members
• Communicate proactively with peers and stakeholders across global business units to report on progress, remove roadblocks and align strategies.
• Knowledge of design control, risk management and DHF/DMR management under ISO 13485 and ISO 14971, including experience building or operating a QMS within a design services or contract engineering environment are preferred
• Working knowledge of applicable IEC standards including IEC 60601, IEC 62304, and IEC 62366 (usability engineering), as well as biocompatibility requirements (ISO 10993) are preferred
