A entry-level Procurement Executive will handles supplier contracting, vendor database management, and cost-effective rate negotiations for hotels, transport, and local tour services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Sourcing & Onboarding: Research and help onboard local ground handlers, hotels, transport providers, and activity vendors for travel itineraries.
- Rate & Contract Negotiation: Assist senior staff in negotiating competitive B2B rates, group discounts, and commission structures with regional travel suppliers.
- Database Maintenance: Keep the internal vendor management system and rate sheets up-to-date with current pricing, blackout dates, and contact details.
- Cost Comparison & Quotations: Analyze vendor quotes to provide operations and sales teams with the most cost-effective routing and service options.
- Administrative Support: Assist with processing purchase orders, reconciling supplier invoices, and resolving minor booking or billing discrepancies.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or Hospitality Management.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, clear verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail.
- Attributes: Eager to learn, organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working with basic data analytics.
