Role Description The Accounting Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day financial and accounting operations. This position includes maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, and entering and reconciling transactions in accounting software. The Accounting Assistant will help manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor expense reports, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely documentation, maintaining organized financial files, and assisting with basic financial analysis and reporting as needed.

• Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills to support daily financial operations and reporting.
• Candidates should possess Bookkeeping skills to accurately record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions.
• Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and basic analysis.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software to manage ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations efficiently.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with basic financial regulations and best practices; experience in tech or AI-driven environments is an advantage.
