About the role
Keep AV and video-conferencing systems running for virtual and physical events. You'll set up, operate and maintain equipment, and support the recording studio and webinars.
What you'll do
- Operate day-to-day AV and VC systems for virtual and physical events
- Manage schedules for multiple and multi-day events, with setup and testing completed at least 30 minutes before start
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections, plus preventive and predictive maintenance
- Prepare weekly maintenance reports
- Respond to service requests, investigate faults and take corrective action
- Maintain a labelled asset inventory, incident reports and engineering system records
- Coordinate and supervise defect rectification, replacement and upgrading works
- Work with AV and cleaning contractors to prepare meeting venues
- Operate the studio and control room for recordings and webinars, and maintain the studio and live-stream systems
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in AV equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and facility management services
- One of the following: NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or Mechanical & Electrical Services; a diploma in film/media studies; or any diploma with a portfolio of video production work
- Working knowledge of cameras, video switchers, lighting and sound for professional video and live streaming
- Experience with filming equipment and studio production
- Independent, team-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced setting, with good interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
