Job Description
1. IT Asset Receiving & Handling
- Receive and physically handle incoming IT equipment and hardware in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Unpack incoming shipments and inspect equipment for visible physical damage, discrepancies or abnormalities.
- Verify asset quantities, serial numbers, asset tags and other relevant identifiers against the required documentation.
- Segregate and escalate damaged, defective or unidentified assets for further investigation.
2. Asset Packing & Preparation
- Safely pack IT devices and equipment for deployment, transportation or storage.
- Ensure devices are packed using the appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage during handling and transit.
- Ensure all completed boxes are properly sealed, secured and prepared in accordance with SOP and warehouse procedures.
- Perform a final physical check before assets are released for dispatch.
3. RFID & Asset Tagging
- Apply RFID tags and asset identification labels accurately to the designated IT equipment.
- Verify that RFID/asset tags are correctly positioned, securely attached and readable.
- Perform visual and system checks to confirm successful tagging where applicable.
- Report missing, damaged, duplicated or incorrectly applied asset tags for correction.
4. Basic User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Perform basic physical and operational UAT checks on IT devices prior to dispatch.
- Verify that devices meet the defined baseline readiness criteria.
- Check for basic physical conditions, device power-up status and other defined UAT requirements.
- Accurately record UAT results and identify devices that have passed or failed the required checks.
- Escalate failed UAT results or hardware abnormalities to the relevant technical team.
5. Asset Records & Data Integrity
- Accurately complete warehouse checklists, asset records and processing documentation.
- Update required records to indicate UAT status, RFID tagging status and asset processing status.
- Ensure information captured is complete, accurate and consistent with the physical asset.
- Maintain a high level of data accuracy to support inventory tracking, asset reconciliation and audit requirements.
6. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
- Support daily warehouse activities including asset movement, storage, picking, staging and dispatch.
- Ensure IT assets are stored systematically and securely according to warehouse requirements.
- Assist with stock counts, asset reconciliation and periodic inventory checks.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized and safe.
- Follow established safety, security and asset-handling procedures at all times.
7. Team Collaboration & Operational Support
- Work closely with Imaging, Extraction and other technical teams to ensure smooth asset processing.
- Coordinate the handover and movement of assets between warehouse and technical processing areas.
- Highlight operational issues, discrepancies or bottlenecks to the Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.
- Support other warehouse activities and operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, production, manufacturing or asset-handling environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow standard operating procedures.
- Comfortable handling IT equipment and performing repetitive physical processing activities.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes/equipment and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work with checklists, spreadsheets or inventory systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and disciplined in following operational procedures.
- Willing and able to work the assigned Day or Late/PM shift.
Preferred
- Experience working with IT hardware, IT assets, electronics or computer equipment.
- Experience in an IT asset warehouse, data centre, logistics hub or technology environment.
- Familiarity with asset tagging, RFID, barcode scanning or inventory management systems.
- Experience performing basic hardware/device quality checks or UAT.
- Experience working with technical teams such as desktop support, imaging or hardware deployment teams.

- Effective coordination with Imaging, Extraction and other technical teams.
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
