The Project Manager (Fit Out Construction) is responsible for overseeing and delivering interior fit out projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, stakeholder management, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of construction and interior fit out processes, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Lead, plan, and manage fit out projects from design development to handover.

- Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and risk assessments.

- Manage tendering, contract negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors and vendors.

- Monitor site progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Financial Management

- Prepare and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.

- Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

- Assess variations, claims, and change orders, negotiating with clients and subcontractors as required.

Stakeholder & Client Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.

- Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct regular project meetings, progress reports, and updates.

Quality, Health & Safety

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, and workplace safety standards.

- Oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, and defect management.

- Implement health, safety, and environmental best practices on-site.

Pay: $3,200.00 - $4,200.00 per month
