Custom Declaration OfficerJob Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Custom Declaration Officer to handle customs documentation, import/export declarations, and ensure smooth customs clearance processes. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and verify import/export documents including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, and permits.
• Ensure HS Code classification and declaration information are accurate.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customers, and customs authorities for clearance matters.
• Monitor customs clearance status and resolve documentation issues.
• Maintain proper records of customs-related documents and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customs declaration, import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures, HS Code classification, and import/export documentation.
• Familiar with customs systems such as uCustoms / Dagang Net / ePermit is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling K1, K2, K3, K8, K9 customs declarations.
• Experience working with freight forwarding or manufacturing companies.
• Ability to solve documentation discrepancies efficiently.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
