Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and responsible
Cook / Chef
to join our kitchen team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to the company’s recipes, food quality standards and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and menu requirements.
Prepare ingredients, sauces and other food items for daily kitchen operations.
Handle cooking, food preparation and plating efficiently.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste and presentation.
Ensure proper food handling, storage and kitchen hygiene.
Monitor food preparation and minimise food wastage.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
Assist with stock checking and kitchen inventory when required.
Follow food safety, workplace safety and company procedures.
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
Experience in
local / Singaporean / Peranakan cuisine
will be an advantage.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen hygiene.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
