Casual Reservations Coordinator

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree

is looking for a

Casual Reservations Coordinator

to join our team and support the Reservations function in delivering a seamless experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Handle guest reservations and enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.

Assist guests with room bookings, amendments, cancellations and general reservation enquiries.

Provide accurate information on room types, rates, packages, promotions and hotel facilities.

Process reservations accurately in the hotel’s reservation/PMS system.

Liaise with Front Office and other departments to ensure guest requests and special arrangements are properly communicated.

Follow up on reservation requests and ensure timely responses to guests.

Assist with maintaining accurate reservation records and reports.

Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate matters to the appropriate supervisor when required.

Support the Reservations team with daily administrative and operational duties.

Ensure all guest interactions are handled in accordance with hotel standards and Banyan Tree service standards.

Requirements

Prior experience in

Reservations, Front Office, Guest Services or a similar hospitality role

is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.

Good telephone etiquette and email communication skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.

Knowledge of hotel reservation/PMS systems will be an added advantage.

Able to work on a

casual basis

, including weekends and public holidays where required.
