A beautician
provides personal care treatments like hair styling, skincare, and nail care to enhance a client's appearance
.
Key Responsibilities
Hair Care:
Cut, color, perm, and style hair, plus treat scalps.
Skincare & Face:
Perform facials, apply makeup, and give skin care advice.
Hair Removal:
Remove body and facial hair using waxing, threading, or electrolysis.
Nail Care:
Do manicures, pedicures, and nail art.
Sales & Admin:
Recommend beauty products, book appointments, and keep workspaces clean. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal training or certification in cosmetology or beauty therapy.
Valid license if required by your local region.
