About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to manage and deliver complex IT projects while driving Agile practices across multiple Scrum teams. The role will work closely with senior management, business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project implementation using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate Scrum practices and Agile ceremonies across multiple teams.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, resources, scope, risks, budget, and change control.
• Track project progress, iteration health, throughput, and delivery performance.
• Identify and resolve team impediments and project risks.
• Manage troubled projects/teams and drive them towards successful delivery.
• Work closely with senior management, project sponsors, business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
• Prepare project status reports, performance updates, and completion documentation.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure delivery timelines are met.
• Drive stakeholder communication, escalation, and decision-making.
• Support Agile transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure project execution follows company policies and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Scrum Master experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Senior Scrum Master / senior Agile role.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including exposure to Waterfall methodology.
• Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams, Agile transformations, and complex IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, or a related field.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Agile certification such as A-CSM, PSM II, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Dashboards, or similar Agile project tracking tools.
• Experience with Power BI or AI tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile engineering practices.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, presentation, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage challenging stakeholders and teams.

Preferred

• Malaysian candidates are preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
