Linux Product Engineer – NixOS & Firewall

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Linux Engineer to develop and maintain a high-performance firewall and security product using NixOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a Linux-based firewall appliance using NixOS and Nix.
• Develop firewall and network functions using nftables, iptables, eBPF and XDP.
• Manage Linux systems using Ansible and systemd.
• Apply Linux security hardening and CIS standards.
• Develop backend services and APIs to connect the firewall with management systems.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automated NixOS deployments.
• Create and maintain ISO/cloud images and OTA updates.
• Conduct network performance and security testing using tools such as iperf3 and TRex.
• Monitor Linux kernel vulnerabilities and apply security patches.
