About the Opportunity

Our client is an early-stage AI company headquartered in Singapore, backed by top-tier international VC funds and angel investors from leading Silicon Valley technology companies. The founding team hails from world-class universities and frontier AI research organizations, and the business — serving customers primarily in overseas markets — is scaling rapidly across multiple countries following a recent funding round.

They are now hiring an Operations Manager / Senior Operations Manager to sit at the heart of the company: the Founder's Office. Think of it as the "mini-COO" seat of an early-stage startup — the founders set the direction; you make the company run.

What You'll Own

• Build the company's internal operating system from the ground up: SOPs, approval workflows, project-tracking mechanisms, and operational trackers
• Drive key cross-functional projects across engineering, product, data, hardware, finance, and HR teams spanning multiple countries and time zones
• Own contract, procurement, and payment workflows end-to-end — vendor communication, quotations, delivery follow-up, filing
• Maintain operational data on projects, vendors, and costs; help prepare budgets and track actual spend
• Implement and continuously improve internal systems (approval, project management, finance), and be the person who makes them actually work

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years in operations, project management, PMO, or business operations — tech companies, startups, or fast-growing organizations preferred
• Bachelor's degree or above (Business Administration, Engineering Management, Information Management, Supply Chain, or related)
• A builder's mindset: you've set up processes from zero, or significantly improved messy ones, and you enjoy it
• Strong cross-functional communication — comfortable working with engineers, finance, and external vendors alike
• Data-driven: you spot problems in operational numbers and propose fixes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Feishu/Lark or similar collaboration tools
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-thread startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in AI, robotics, smart hardware, data platforms, or other deep-tech industries
• Experience driving projects across regions and time zones
• Founder's Office, PMO, or chief-of-staff-adjacent experience
