Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Seat Assembly operations to achieve production targets in terms of quality, cost, delivery, safety, and productivity.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage manpower planning, staff development, performance evaluation, and team engagement.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve production issues.
• Monitor production KPls, analyze performance data, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive problem-solving activities using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage production costs and optimize resource utilization while maintaining product quality.
• Support new model launches and process improvements within the Seat Assembly department.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role within manufacturing operations.
• Must have experience in automotive Seat Assembly operations.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and people management skills.

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
