Summary
The Resource Optimisation Manager is responsible for maximizing the efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and facilities through strategic resource planning, rostering, and real-time operational deployment to support 24/7 operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage medium-term, short-term, and real-time resource allocation plans.
Lead and support Resource Planners and Allocators to ensure optimal staffing and resource deployment.
Monitor operational demand and adjust resources to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Utilize resource management systems and data analytics to improve workforce planning and decision-making.
Provide expert guidance on rostering, overtime planning, leave management, and workforce optimization.
Track roster effectiveness and prepare reports on staffing coverage and resource utilization.
Conduct scenario planning and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and health policies.
Support manpower and equipment budgeting activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
Minimum 6 years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, or resource management.
At least 4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in an airline, airport, MRO, or ground handling environment is an advantage.
Strong analytical, planning, rostering, overtime management, and leave administration skills.
Proficient in workforce planning and resource management systems.
