Business Development Executive – IT / Software Solutions

Location: Butterworth, Penang

Experience: 2–4 years | Fresh Graduates with strong IT knowledge are welcome

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new business opportunities and build strong client relationships for our IT Outsourcing, Custom Software Development, Cloud, AI, ERP, and Digital Transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, exhibitions, referrals, and client visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable IT/software solutions.
• Conduct client presentations, solution demonstrations, and business meetings.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Coordinate with technical, project management, and software development teams on solution design and delivery.
• Maintain CRM records, sales documentation, and activity reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• IT services, software development, system integration, or technology sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of software development, cloud, ERP, AI, or digital transformation is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good proficiency in MS Office.
• Self-motivated, organized, target-driven, and able to work under pressure.
• Fresh graduates with strong IT knowledge and a passion for sales are encouraged to apply.
