Job Summary:

A Assistant Retail Manager supports the Butchery Manager in daily operations, ensuring quality meat cuts, food safety compliance, inventory control, customer service, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cutting, portioning, labeling, and displaying meat products.
• Monitor stock, place orders, rotate inventory, and conduct stock checks.
• Maintain sanitation, ensure proper storage, and enforce safety standards.
• Advise customers on meat selection and cooking methods; address inquiries and complaints.
• Train, supervise, delegate tasks, and provide feedback to staff.
• Assist in promotions, track sales, and maintain records.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of meat cuts and processing
• Experience in meat cutting and trimming
• Strong customer service and leadership skills
• Understanding of food safety regulations
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting
