The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, inventory accuracy, service quality and compliance with established processes, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity, accuracy and service standards are met.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain proper inventory control.
- Manage manpower, overtime, material usage and operational costs.
- Ensure proper documentation, record keeping and retention of operational records.
- Handle and follow up on customer feedback and complaints.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and operational procedures.
- Conduct on-the-job training for warehouse staff.
- Ensure staff comply with established processes and maintain accuracy in data processing.
- Gather feedback from staff and customers to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and customer service.
- Experience supervising or leading warehouse teams.
- Good understanding of warehouse and inventory operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented and willing to learn.
- Able to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
