About Kanlax Coffee

Kanlax Coffee is a growing café and food & beverage business in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Outlet Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations across our outlets.

Job Description

As an Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation, staff management, customer service, sales performance, inventory control and compliance with Kanlax Coffee's SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily café operations.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the outlet team.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters and manpower requirements.
• Ensure staff follow company SOPs, hygiene and food safety requirements.
• Monitor daily sales and work towards achieving sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of food, beverage and customer service.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory, wastage and ordering.
• Ensure proper cash handling and POS procedures.
• Conduct staff briefings and on-the-job training.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and performance.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management when required.
• Prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
• Identify operational issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Support promotional activities and initiatives to increase sales.
• Ensure the outlet is clean, organised and well presented at all times.
• Be willing to work at Mall of Medini or Educity Sports Complex according to operational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant F&B supervisory or management experience.
• Experience managing a café, restaurant or similar F&B outlet is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage staff, stock, cash and daily operations independently.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, disciplined and proactive.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must be able to travel/work between both Kanlax Coffee locations when required.
