Job Summary
Support project execution by reviewing engineering documents, preparing detailed quantity take-offs, coordinating with teams for claims and approvals, and managing documentation to ensure accurate project budgeting and delivery.
Responsibilities
Analyze requests for proposals to identify project details and requirements for accurate estimating
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure comprehensive understanding of project needs
Prepare detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs based on technical documentation to support cost estimation
Collaborate with the site team and report progress and issues to the project manager to ensure alignment with project goals
Coordinate with project teams monthly to prepare progress claims and follow up on variation works to maintain budget control
Maintain and update company pricing databases to support accurate and current cost information
Prepare shop drawings (2D, 3D, and BIM), submit for approval, and liaise with main contractors and consultants to secure necessary authorizations
Follow up on document and material submissions and approvals to ensure timely project progression
Develop material schedules and cutting schedules, coordinating with the production team to align materials with project timelines
Prepare monthly claims and invoices to support financial tracking and project cash flow management
