The General Worker supports daily food production activities by assisting in food processing, packaging, sorting, and cleaning operations. The role ensures work is carried out safely, hygienically, and in accordance with company procedures, food safety requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities ( Job Description)

• Assist with food production tasks such as:
• preparing ingredients and batching materials (as assigned)
• operating or assisting with basic production equipment (as trained)
• filling, sorting, weighing, or assembling products
• packing, labeling, and palletizing finished goods
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety standards at all times.
• Perform quality checks as assigned (e.g., basic visual checks, date/label verification).
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness:
• sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment
• follow cleaning schedules and correct material handling procedures
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Handle ingredients and finished goods properly to prevent contamination and damage.
• Support inventory control tasks such as material movement, stock checking, and waste reporting (as assigned).
• Report defects, spills, abnormal conditions, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Comply with all company policies, attendance requirements, and work instructions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum education: No specific requirement (or basic literacy/numeracy preferred).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a workplace setting.
• Willingness to work in a production environment, including standing for long periods.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices (training will be provided).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Familiarity with Halal/GMP/HACCP or factory SOPs.
• Experience with packaging and labeling processes.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures consistently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely (within company limits).
• Ability to work in environments with heat, cold, odors, or noise as applicable.

Work Conditions

• Shift work including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Fast-paced environment with strict hygiene and safety standards.
• Use of PPE and protective clothing.
