To perform routine maintenance and repair tasks while also handling administrative duties such as documentation, reporting, scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance tasks related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and building services.
Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and facilities.
Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Assist in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and servicing of machinery, lighting, air conditioning units, etc.
Ensure all tools, equipment and systems are maintained in good working condition and stored properly.
Support in setting up equipment for school or office functions/events (if applicable)
Maintain and update maintenance records, work orders, service reports and equipment logs.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
Coordinate and follow up with external contractors/vendors for service jobs, quotations and deliveries.
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools and supplies; prepare requisition forms when stock is low.
File and organize maintenance manuals, warranties and regulatory compliance documents.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Building Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical or a related technical field.
2-3 years of working experience in the engineering field, preferably in HVAC.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
Able to multitask and prioritize technical and administrative responsibilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving issues.
