Job Summary

Lead and manage construction activities for major infrastructure projects at Changi Naval Base, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards, quality control, safety protocols, and effective stakeholder coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction activities for Dwall construction, deep excavation, C&C tunnels, drainage systems, pavement construction, taxiways, and runways to ensure project completion
• Ensure compliance with Singapore standards and regulations throughout all project phases to maintain legal and quality requirements
• Conduct regular inspections to verify quality control and adherence to project specifications, identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and maintain smooth project progress
• Monitor project progress by tracking budget and schedule updates, and report findings to relevant parties for informed decision-making
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a RTO C&S, including at least five (5) years supervising major construction works in Singapore
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision demonstrated through managing complex construction projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills applied to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals
