Role Description The Technician role at Trio-Tech International is a full-time, on-site position based in Simpang Empat. The Technician will perform routine testing, inspection, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment and related systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include setting up test fixtures, operating specialized testing machinery, recording and analyzing test data, and reporting any issues or irregularities. The Technician will also assist in troubleshooting equipment failures, performing basic repairs, and coordinating with engineers and senior technical staff to implement corrective actions. This role involves adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and documentation requirements, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in operating, monitoring, and maintaining semiconductor or industrial electronics equipment, including basic troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to perform precise measurements, follow test procedures, and document results accurately using standard tools and software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in a production environment.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and team members in a diverse, cross-functional setting.
• Relevant technical diploma or certificate in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field; prior experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Simpang Empat, including possible shift work or overtime as needed to support production schedules.
