Key responsibilities

Run Azure and GCP cloud and infrastructure services on the Asia time zone.

Steer the cloud partner operationally and act as the escalation relay towards Central.

Support the landing zone and middleware run on the Asia scope.

Contribute to the Azure File Share & DR, Windows Server 2016 EOL remediation (Jan 2027) and to

knowledge transfer towards Central.

Ensure operational readiness, capacity planning/upgrades, lifecycle management, and technical health

of infrastructure platforms.

Ensure backup/restore, Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), and business continuity measures are in place

and regularly validated.

Implement FinOps operational practices, monitor, analyze, identifying trends and anomalies.

Operational support of Middleware platform, including availability, monitoring, access administration,

incident coordination, and vendor escalation.

Provide cloud on-call coverage for the Asia time zone.

Beyond the Asia scope, and subject to available capacity, contributes to the central operations

supporting the delivery of services to the EMEA / AMER as part of a follow-the-sun model.

Key interfaces and governance

Internal: Head of Asia Operations, Central Systems & Cloud, Lead Operations, Middleware.

External: cloud managed-service partner (MSP), Microsoft, Google Cloud.

Regional: IT Managers in Asia markets.

Candidate profile Experience and background

Experienced cloud operations engineering with a run background on Azure and/or GCP.

Comfortable steering a cloud MSP and acting as an operational escalation point.

Core technical skills

Azure / GCP operations on the Asia time zone.

Windows Server Lifecycle / HyperV / Microsoft PKI.

Active Directory /Okta IDP/SSO

MSP steering and cloud on-call.

Landing-zone support and FinOps awareness.

Middleware run and infrastructure fundamentals (MuleSoft & SFTP).

Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) contribution.

Behavioural skills and posture

Autonomy and initiative: able to structure their own workload, progress with limited framing, and

escalate at the right level.

Writing quality: produces clear, directly usable deliverables (framing notes, minutes, procedures,

reporting) in fluent English.

Analytical and synthesis skills: understands a complex technical environment and conveys the

essentials to varied stakeholders.

Communication and influence: 'Houses First' posture earns adoption through demonstrated value,

with no hierarchical authority over the Maisons.

Rigour and reliability: honours commitments, deadlines and Division standards; strong service and

results orientation.

Comfortable in a multicultural, multi-entity environment, both remotely and on site.

Languages

Fluent English is mandatory (coordination with Central and the cloud partner). Mandarin is a plus.

Success criteria (6 to 12 months)

Cloud run stable on the Asia time zone with a clear escalation path to Central.

Azure File Share Migration & DR, Windows Server 2016 EOL remediation on track for January 2027.

Effective operational steering of the cloud partner.

Knowledge transfer to Central progressing as planned.
