An emerging digital infrastructure organisation, our client has announced exciting plans to grow the global footprints and data centre portfolio. To support their growth plans, they are looking for a seasoned Tax Advisor to join their team in Singapore.

Role

In this newly created role, you will be the strategic tax advisor and play a pivotal role to support the global growth and investment activities. You will provide advice on M&A, new market entry, data centre developments, joint ventures, financing and capital structures, including leading tax due diligence and developing tax-efficient acquisition, holding and exit structures. You will also advise on international and cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, indirect taxes, tax incentives and Pillar Two requirements, while assessing the tax implications of major development and capital expenditure initiatives.

Experience

Ideally, you have 10 - 15 years of corporate and international tax advisory experience, including initial training in a Big 4 firm. You would demonstrate:

• Strong expertise supporting M&A, investment structuring, joint ventures, financing and/or major capital projects.
• Experience in data centres, digital infrastructure, infrastructure, energy, real estate or other capital-intensive sectors would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of tax considerations surrounding major development and capital expenditure programmes, ideally for data centres.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, withholding taxes, tax treaties, tax incentives, indirect taxation and international tax developments.
• Agility to work across multiple Asian markets and navigating different tax regimes would be highly valued.
