Job Description

Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation and procurement execution
Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements to achieve cost efficiency and business objectives
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, pricing and invoices
Forecast purchasing needs and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
Analyze market trends and purchasing data to recommend improvements and optimize procurement strategies
Coordinate inbound shipments from local/overseas suppliers and manage the import documentation
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and documentation
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations and quality standards
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
Min. 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
Knowledge of heavy vehicles, machinery and spare parts is an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
Excellent negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Able to work independently in fast-paced and dynamic work environment
