Job Purpose

Support the day-to-day execution of site works by supervising labour, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and work sequence on site. Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, method, quality requirements, safety standards, and project programme.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and instructions from the project team.

Work Sequence & Coordination

• Coordinate daily work fronts, site access, work areas, and sequence of activities to avoid clashes, delays, and rework.

Manpower & Resource Monitoring

• Monitor daily manpower, machinery, tools, and material usage on site; report actual site resources and productivity status to the Site Engineer / Project team.

Subcontractor Control

• Supervise subcontractors and workers to ensure work quality, progress, housekeeping, and discipline on site.

Drawing & Instruction Implementation

• Ensure site teams understand the latest drawings, revisions, and instructions before carrying out works.

Quality & Workmanship

• Check works on site before inspection request to ensure they meet the required standard and reduce rework or rejection.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce basic site safety rules, good housekeeping, proper access control, and safe working conditions together with the Safety team.

Site Reporting Support

• Record daily site activities, manpower, machinery, progress areas, site issues, and material arrivals; provide accurate information to the Site Engineer for reporting.

Material & Equipment Coordination

• Coordinate delivery, unloading, storage, and usage of materials and equipment at the site work front.

Problem Escalation

• Highlight site issues, lack of resources, drawing problems, subcontractor non-performance, or safety concerns to the Site Engineer / RE / PM promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in building construction

• Able to read and understand construction drawings

• Good knowledge of construction sequence, site logistics, worker coordination, lifting, and access planning

• Able to supervise workers and subcontractors firmly and practically

• Strong awareness of site safety, workmanship, and housekeeping

• Willing to be based full-time on site and relocate from project to project nationwide

Advantageous

• Experience on industrial projects such as factories, warehouses, and process plants

• Experience with CSA and/or M&E coordination

• Familiarity with fast-track project environment, Data Centre

• CIDB Green Card / basic safety certification
