Company Summary
Join a global leader in intelligent payment terminals and software solutions as an Android Development Engineer. Drive the development of Android-based payment applications tailored for the APAC market, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Android applications customized for APAC market requirements to enhance payment solutions
Integrate payment SDKs, transaction modules, and terminal vendor systems to ensure seamless transaction processing
Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures supporting high concurrency for payment platforms
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and headquarters in China, including product, testing, operations, and business units, to align technical solutions with business goals
Translate market and compliance requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions for payment systems
Prepare, update, and manage comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational needs
Monitor and analyze payment industry trends, policies, and compliance standards to ensure solutions remain current and compliant
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 2+ years of Android development experience
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, Android architecture, and SDK integration
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience in payment or FinTech projects such as POS and acquiring systems
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced environments
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Fluency in multiple languages to facilitate collaboration with regional teams
