Role Description

You'll own the full L&D lifecycle: identifying the highest-impact problems, architecting solutions across training, culture and workflow, and maintaining the career frameworks that give people a clear path forward. You'll also help managers grow into stronger leaders, support engagement initiatives, and manage the HRDC grants that fund it all.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who wants more than a checklist — you define the outcome, build the approach, coordinate stakeholders, and see it through to measurable impact.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Diagnose and strategise — Identify the org's highest-impact learning and culture problems using data, feedback and observation, and define roadmaps to solve them.
  • Design and deliver learning programs — Architect training, culture and workflow solutions — including leadership development for people managers — and coordinate facilitators and stakeholders to deliver them.
  • Career development frameworks — Maintain career growth-path, competency and progression frameworks with managers and leadership, keeping them relevant and actually used, not just published.
  • Measure impact and iterate — Define success measures for every initiative, evaluate effectiveness, and refine programs based on data and feedback.
  • Employee engagement — Plan and run engagement and team-building initiatives that keep a global, multicultural workforce connected.
  • HRDC administration — Own HRDC grant applications, claims and reporting from submission through closure, with proactive tracking and follow-up.
  • HR projects — Own broader HR projects as they arise — defining outcomes, building plans, and driving delivery across stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
  • Demonstrated experience independently owning a learning program, career framework or development initiative from planning through execution and evaluation.
  • Experience diagnosing learning or culture needs from data and feedback, translating them into structured roadmaps — with the judgment to weigh trade-offs and recommend practical next steps.
  • Background running coaching clinics, manager training, or other leadership development interventions.
  • Experience with HRDC grant applications, claims and reporting.
  • Strong instructional or program design skills, including content adapted for first-time or new managers.
  • Comfort working with a multicultural, globally distributed team, with sensitivity to different working styles and cultural contexts.
  • Strong project management skills — prioritising work, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders and driving follow-up through completion.
  • Clear, professional communication, with the ability to facilitate and engage across employees, managers and leadership.
  • Sound judgment, integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information and sensitive matters.
  • Adaptability and composure when priorities change, with the ability to create structure and maintain progress in a fast-moving environment.

What's in it for you

  • You will become part of an amazing culture with smart, collaborative teammates who actually care about each other's growth and success.
  • You will grow more here than you would anywhere else, that is a promise.
  • Virtual events like talent shows, Among Us nights, and online game sessions to keep the fun going, no matter where you are!
  • We offer a highly competitive compensation package.
  • You'll receive a mental health allowance to support your health and wellness needs.
  • Flexible working environment and working hours that fit your lifestyle.
