Role Description

The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Simpang Empat. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing automation projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, safety standards, and budget constraints. Day-to-day tasks include developing project specifications and schedules, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, manufacturing, and assembly. The Project Engineer will review and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, support system integration and testing, and provide technical guidance and updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to maintain timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to automation systems.
• Candidates should possess effective Project Management and Project Planning skills for coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities in technical and project-related contexts.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., CAD, electrical design platforms) and familiarity with industrial automation technologies.
• Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
