Job Summary
As a Product Advisor at Materia, you will guide customers in exploring and selecting home products by understanding their needs and recommending practical solutions. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth product availability and support after-sales service.
Responsibilities
Engage customers to identify their needs, preferences, and budget for home products
Present and explain Materia’s products, materials, and home solutions clearly to customers
Recommend products tailored to customers’ spaces, lifestyles, and requirements
Clarify product features, specifications, differences, and practical uses to aid customer decisions
Assist customers in comparing options without applying sales pressure
Prepare accurate product quotations and follow up with customers promptly
Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to confirm product availability, pricing, and lead times
Manage customised product enquiries and special orders efficiently
Collaborate with designers to suggest products suitable for specific designs or spaces
Support customers in selecting products for kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, storage, lighting, and other home areas
Maintain and update comprehensive product knowledge and stay informed on new trends
Organise and update showroom displays, samples, and product information regularly
Record customer enquiries, preferences, and follow-up actions accurately
Handle online enquiries, WhatsApp, social media leads, and showroom appointments professionally
Assist with after-sales coordination to ensure customer satisfaction

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Basic computer skills for preparing quotations, maintaining customer records, and managing product information

Sales experience is useful, with a focus on consultative and customer-focused service
