You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and scalable operation of the credit investment platform, serving as a key enabler of the firm's continued growth and operational excellence. Working closely with stakeholders, you will help strengthen operational infrastructure, support portfolio expansion, and uphold institutional-grade standards across both asset management and insurance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operational processes across credit investment strategies, including trade lifecycle management, settlement, valuation, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with front office, custodians, administrators, counterparties, and trustees to ensure seamless execution and reporting
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of NAV calculations and portfolio reports
- Establish, maintain, and enhance operational policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures
- Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory reviews, and operational due diligence exercises
- Manage operational requirements for insurance-linked mandates or insurance company clients
- Ensure alignment with insurance asset management guidelines, reporting standards, and documentation requirements
- Act as a key operational point of contact for insurance stakeholders
- Drive process improvements through automation, workflow optimization, and system enhancements
- Work with internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure system stability, scalability, and data accuracy
- Participate in or lead systems implementations and operational transformation initiatives
- Partner closely with senior management, investment professionals, and control functions
- Coordinate effectively with finance, compliance, legal, and external service providers
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior operations staff, where applicable
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant operations experience within SFC-licensed corporations and/or Insurance Authority regulated entities
- Prior experience in virtual asset regulatory uplift initiatives, governance frameworks, risk management, compliance programmes, or business expansion projects is highly preferred
- Candidates holding an Insurance Authority licence, or with previous experience performing a licensed role within an Insurance Authority regulated environment, will be viewed favourably
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and experience operating within regulated financial services environments
- Strong understanding of credit products, including loans, structured credit, or fixed income instruments
- Proven experience in investment operations, fund administration, custody, reconciliation, and reporting
- Familiarity with insurance balance sheet management or insurance-related investment mandates preferred
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and a solutions-driven mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
